British Council Singapore:
With four campuses throughout Singapore (including one on Napier Road), the British Council Singapore is an English language and culture education centre that provides a range of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for children from pre-school through secondary school at beginner to advanced levels. Open to local and international students, we offer full and part-time Pre-School courses, Primary School and Secondary School programs, and Holiday Programs in Singapore.

The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. In Singapore, the work of the British Council includes teaching English to adults and young learners; teacher training and corporate training; providing the latest information about studying in the UK; promoting British education and training; and demonstrating the innovation, creativity and excellence of British arts, literature and design.

Accreditation - EduTrust Recognition:
British Council Singapore is the only language school that has been awarded with the EduTrust star award status with a validity period of 4 years.

Our experienced and highly qualified teachers understand the needs of students and the challenges they face. They will assess your child’s progress and adapt their teaching methods to suit their learning style.

As a key partner of the Ministry of Education, our courses are aligned with the MOE’s current guidance on both Singaporean examinations and curriculums. Our examination preparation programmes address the challenges faced by today’s students, including the new 2015 PSLE, 2013 O-level and A-level examinations.

In class, your child will take part in group work, pair work and discussions. Students are encouraged to share their opinions, develop critical analytic skills and gain practice with language skills aimed at furthering their progress in school.

International Study Camps:
We provide a range of study camps for groups of young learners who are visiting Singapore from overseas. We provide customised English language classes based on their needs. Held during school holidays, our camps can range from a single half-day session to an intensive one month programme. Young learners will also be immersed in the safe English speaking environment that Singapore offers.

Making use of modern technology, such as interactive whiteboards, DVDs and iPads, we deliver lessons that make learning at our four conveniently located centres enjoyable and fulfilling for your child.
