All our staff are university graduates and are native Spanish speakers with many years of teaching experience. Some of them also have a good knowledge of English. To achieve the very best results we give lessons in small groups. We aim to make lessons lively and interesting. While teaching all aspects of grammar, reading and writing we also place great emphasis on conversation.
As an additional service we can offer you to arrange your accommodation in host family, shared apartment with other students, holiday apartment or rural houses (fincas).
With a full programme of optional or extra activities our leisure team will ensure that you will be able to enjoy your learning experience apart from the language tuitions. We organise once a week: breakfast, one excursions , party night, festivals, surf lessons, flamenco, salsa lessons, etc.
Tenerife has a lot more to offer than just sun, beaches and palm trees. Up to twice a week we organise excursions to the best places to visit all over the island. This offers you the opportunity to get to know the diverse nature and multifaceted culture of this beautiful island.
Sightseeing tours will take you to La Laguna, a universiy city that has been proclaimed a world heritage by the UNESCO, to the lively capital Santa Cruz or to La Orotava, the oldest town on Tenerife. We also visit different museums that explain the historic and cultural development of the island and its inhabitants.
From time to time, we offer hiking tours. Destinations are, for example, the "Barranco del Infierno" - in English the "Hell´s gorge" - or to the village of Masca hidden deep in the mountains in the west of Tenerife
On trips to the tourist resorts of Las Americas and Los Christianos you can get to know the south of the island and visit their long golden beaches. A tour to the palm beach "Playa Las Teresitas" in Santa Cruz can also be arranged.
Puerto de la Cruz itself has lots of corners to discover too. You can wonder through the old town with your fellow students. We will certainly visit the world famous "Loro Parque", the "must" of the Canary Islands. This has has the world´s largest collection of parrots and is a leading centre for animal conservation.
