Summer Camp at AMADEUS International School Vienna:
This summer we introduce the educational, 2-week AMADEUS Summer Camp - perfect for students (children/juniors aged 11-15) who would like to explore the boarding life or want a summer with Music, English or German Language, Art, Culture, and FUN.

AMADEUS International School Vienna is a unique Day and Boarding School with an integrated Music and Arts Academy in Austria, Europe for students aged 3-18 years old. We accompany young people as they fulfil their highest potential, and we deliver a distinctive academic school programme, based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Curriculum. In addition to a high-quality academic education, we are currently a candidate school to offer the IB Career-related Programme. This programme is the perfect pathway for students who wish to pursue a musical career or want to go on to study music at the university level.

2021 Summer campers will reside in our current premium boarding house on campus (double rooms with ensuite bathroom).

However, in August 2021 we will open up our brand new and fully renovated boarding facilities which will accommodate up to 138 boarding students.

The new boarding house will take 'exclusive' boarding to the next level. Students will find:
- double rooms with individual sleeping areas
- ensuite bathroom in every room
- 360 degree rooftop view over the city of Vienna and the mountains next door
- social dining space with meals prepared by our talented in-house chefs
- outdoor patio in our green campus park
- private music practice rooms
- study hall with academic support after school
- lots of social activities and fun during weekends

The Heart of Europe
Vienna is located in the heart of Europe and can be considered as the political, economic, and cultural centre of Austria. The second largest river in Europe, The Danube, passes through the city. It is known as the “Goddess of the Danube” with a beautiful environment and scenery.

The view over the city offers the mountains of the Alps alongside churches of various styles which cast an ancient and solemn colour on the city with green mountains and clear waters.

The charming and beautiful city centre is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Vienna is full of famous sights and majestic buildings such as museums, city halls, congresses, opera houses, and numerous green parks.

International Education and Career
As one of the four United Nations offices in the world (the remaining three are New York, USA, Geneva, Switzerland, and Nairobi, Kenya), it is also home to many other international organizations and expat families.

The University of Vienna is the oldest and largest comprehensive university in the German-speaking countries (1365). Additionally, you have the Vienna Medical University, the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna Veterinary University, Vienna University of Technology, Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna University of Applied Arts, Vienna University of Agriculture, Vienna University of Economics, and recently the Central European University opened its faculty in Vienna as well.
At AMADEUS, we maintain good relations with the city’s universities, and many of our alumni attend one of the above universities if they do not choose to go abroad. We also have worldwide university connections in other parts of Europe, Oceania, America, and Asia.
