Early Scholars Learning Academy, Tampa:
Conveniently located in central Tampa FL, Early Scholars Learning Academy is a private, co-educational, non-denominational preschool, catering to young learners ages 3-4. Our interactive curriculum provides the stepping stones for our children to develop a self-motivated thirst for knowledge, and the skills necessary to become confident and independent, life-long learners. We also offer comprehensive after-school care, and a Summer Camp program.
Early Scholars’ mission is to recognize and develop each child’s unique approach to learning. We strive to address the needs of the whole child by cultivating a love of learning through academics, promoting physical and social development, and encouraging spiritual values. We create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where learning is exciting, fun, and stimulating.
Our Philosophy:
We believe that the early years of a child’s life are the most formative and that their early learning experiences can shape their future academic success. Therefore, we recognize that each child is unique and that learning occurs on an individual basis. We believe that “it takes a village to raise a child,” therefore we include community involvement in our curriculum and collaborate with families closely. In everything we do, we uphold Christian values while maintaining respect for the spiritual diversity of our community.
Our interactive curriculum provides the stepping stones for our children to develop a self-motivated thirst for knowledge, and the skills necessary to become confident, independent, and responsible life-long learners. Through a broad range of age appropriate experiences, our children learn to observe, analyze, and explore in order to discover the world around them.
Throughout their time with us, our children come to understand and practice honesty, patience, reverence, and respect for themselves and others. We encourage parents to take advantage of the many opportunities we provide throughout the year to be actively involved in their child’s academic life.
Curriculum is based on themed topics that include lessons in math, language, art, social studies, and computer science. To enhance the children’s experience, we also invite various community professionals (firemen, police officers, dentists, etc.) to explain their roles in the community and how they help us.
Integrated themes include:
- My Family / All About Me
- The Seasons
- Ocean Life
- Outer Space
- The Forest
- Restaurant / Groceries
- Insects
- Holidays
- Health
