The Webb School:
Located in Bell Buckle,Tennessee, The Webb School is a private boarding and day school for students in grades 6-12. Our rigorous college preparatory school programs with SAT and AP courses offer the opportunities and support that prepare students for college. In our small boarding school community students learn the pride of hard work and the patience necessary to listen to others. They gain the confidence to express themselves, whether in one-on-one conversations or in front of the whole school. Most of all, you find the trust in yourself that you can succeed.

Academic Curriculum:

English: I, II, III, and IV (Honors sections in II, III, and IV), AP English IV.

Mathematics: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II (Honors sections at each level), College Algebra and Trigonometry, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB & BC, AP Statistics, and Advanced Topics in Mathematics.

History: World History I, World History II, U.S. History (Honors available), AP U.S. History, AP European History, Issues in Democracy, Psychology, World Religions, Economics, AP Economics.

Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, (Honors sections at each level), Anatomy and Physiology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics (Mechanics), AP Physics (Electromagnetism), Integrated Sciences, and Forestry.

Foreign Languages: French I, II, III*, IV*, and V*; Spanish I, II, III*, IV*, Latin I, II, and III*, IV*. (* Levels III and higher are considered Honors sections.)

Fine Arts: Art I, Art II, Advanced Art, Pottery, Speech, Choir, Mock Trial, Social History of Rock and Roll, Music Theory, Theatre I, Theatre II, Piano I, Piano II, Stings I, and Music Appreciation.

Technology: Computer Literacy, Advanced Computer Problems.

Fitness: Health, Physical Education, Wilderness Instuction and Leadership Development (WILD).

ESL (English as a Second Language): History; ESL I, II, and III

Advanced Placement Courses:
The Webb School offers the following 10 Advanced Placement courses: Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, English, Economics, U.S. History, European History, Chemistry, Physics (Mechanics), Physics (Electormagnetism). Webb students were also prepared to perform well in AP examinations for French Language, Music Theory, and Psychology.

Athletics:
Webb athletics help instill students with the values of sportsmanship and working competitively with a team.

Varsity Sports include: Baseball (B), Basketball (B,G), Cross Country (B,G), Golf (B,G), Lacrosse (B,G), Soccer (B,G), Softball (G), Tennis (B,G), Trap Shooting (B,G) Mountain Biking (B,G) Ultimate Frisbee (B,G) and Volleyball (G).

Activities:

Fine Arts:
Fine Arts Webb’s expanded fine arts program provides the opportunities and facilities for creative talents to flourish. Theater, music, and the visual arts all have their place here – and they’re available to students who want to explore their creative side. With Webb’s new fine arts center, our students have an outstanding facility for students to pursue each of these passions.

Drama:
Webb’s drama program performs two full productions each year. Our director uses her ties from years of professional experience to recruit professional actors to lead Master Courses in drama that provide unique learning opportunities throughout the year.

Music:
Webb’s choir and string ensemble performs both on and off campus during the year. Teachers with a high level of experience lead each program.
