B.G. Music Academy:

Classical Piano (Royal Conservatory of Music Program):
Graded repertoire and studies/etudes albums to complement and provide supporting materials for the curriculum and the Certificate Programs of the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Private Piano Lessons for Kids (primary level):
Teachers focus on breaking down the technique of how to play piano into manageable steps while always building toward the end goal of playing your favourite song! Their years of education, performance and teaching experience will translate into shared tricks and tools to help make playing easier, faster and rewarding! Those already playing in bands can get support specific to their own performance setting and repertoire.

Classical Guitar Program (beginner method):
This course is designed for anyone just learning to play classical guitar. This comprehensive and easy beginner's course teach you the basics of the classical style and technique. Student will learn to play pieces by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Giuliani, Carcassi, Bathioli, Aguado, Tarrega, Purcell, and more.

Classical Guitar (Royal Conservatory of Music Program):
Repertoire and Studies grade 1 - 8

Classical Guitar Classes (recreational):
Basic strumming patterns, basic finger picking style, using tabs and notes, free choice to add POP and ROCK music style in a classical style arrangement

POP - ROCK Guitar Program (beginner method):
Students will enjoy its easy-to-follow format that gives them a solid music education while letting them play songs right away. Book 1 provides beginning instruction including tuning, 1st position melody playing, C, G, G7, D7, and Em chords, rhythms through eighth notes, solos and ensembles and strumming. Features a chord chart, and traditional songs like: Amazing Grace • Greensleeves • and When the Saints Go Marching In.

Blues Guitar Beginners Classes:
If you have ever wanted to better understand and play the blues, this course is for you. Students will gain an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques required to play the blues while playing songs by artists such as BB King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry to name a few. Special attention will be paid to rhythm guitar and soloing techniques to create a strong foundation in blues guitar. All materials are included and as always, students are welcome to use one of our classroom guitars during their lesson.

Setting and attaining goals are crucial to the growth and development of any child in any setting. Music is no different. At the B.G. Music Academy, our curriculum is designed to prepare students for exams that allow them to set and attain goals at their own speed and comfort level.
