Through teaching of the highest calibre, Stoics are encouraged to think for themselves, challenge conventional orthodoxies and pursue their own enthusiasms. They rejoice in the differences that exist between them – intellectually, in sporting prowess and in artistic and creative achievements. Home for Stoics is one of the eight boys' or four girls' houses, either in the Mansion House itself or in more recently built buildings adjacent or close by. Each House has around sixty pupils and becomes the Stoic's 'family.'
Academic Programmes:
Boarding Program; Lower School (3rd-5th Form); Upper School (from 6th Form). Pupils are encouraged to make the most of their academic abilities. Through discussion and guidance from their Tutors, they are set targets and given a clear understanding of our expectations. Subjects include English, math, social studies, science as well as a wide range of artistic and creative subjects such as art, music, design, drama and theatre.

Fulneck School is an Independent School offering nursery, junior, senior and sixth form programmes. Fulneck School is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, which is 50 minutes from Manchester in the North of England. The school is placed in a prime location for both commuters and boarding pupils. Based in London, Periplus Home Education is a not-for–profit organisation that provides high-quality, accessible learning solutions for young people aged 11-18 in the UK and overseas. We offer live, on-line teaching to groups and individuals and can provide online tuition in individual subjects at any level or a full taught secondary school curriculum leading to examinations if required. In addition, we offer intensive, short-term tuition prior to examinations. We believe home education should be tailored towards each student’s own capability and needs. Our courses are diverse, flexible and designed to meet individual requirements. We provide a customised learning experience, supported with an extensive collection of study modes, resources, extra-curricular subjects and tutorials. Each student has a full support network of tutors and a forum where you can link with others to share problems, answers, hints and tips.
