Through teaching of the highest calibre, Stoics are encouraged to think for themselves, challenge conventional orthodoxies and pursue their own enthusiasms. They rejoice in the differences that exist between them – intellectually, in sporting prowess and in artistic and creative achievements. Home for Stoics is one of the eight boys' or four girls' houses, either in the Mansion House itself or in more recently built buildings adjacent or close by. Each House has around sixty pupils and becomes the Stoic's 'family.'
Academic Programmes:
Boarding Program; Lower School (3rd-5th Form); Upper School (from 6th Form). Pupils are encouraged to make the most of their academic abilities. Through discussion and guidance from their Tutors, they are set targets and given a clear understanding of our expectations. Subjects include English, math, social studies, science as well as a wide range of artistic and creative subjects such as art, music, design, drama and theatre.

We provide fulltime and parttime nursery and preschool programs for young children (2-5 years) throughout the Dulwich, Tulse Hill, Streatham Hill, Balham, Norwood, Herne Hill and surrounding communities. The main purpose for establishing Dulwich Montessori Nursery School more than a decade ago continues today. We strive to provide carefully planned and stimulating environment to help our students develop an excellent foundation for creative learning. The learning materials at Dulwich Montessori Nursery School have been designed to provide a wide variety of learning experiences geared towards the developmental needs of young children. Each activity involves experiencing with unique materials proven to be intensely fascinating for the young child. Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university. Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.
Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.
