If you are aiming for a qualification in General English and would like to follow a course designed with this specific purpose in mind, then why not try one of our Cambridge exam courses? These courses are very intensive and will provide you with all the language and skills practice you need to be thoroughly prepared for your exam. Our courses are timetabled to fit in with the exam dates. We offer both Full and Part-time courses for the PET, FCE, CAE and CPE exams. Please note these classes require a minimum of 3 students to open. Minimum age is 16 years old.

General English:
- General English Standard (15 hours per week)

Summer Course (July - August) - Available to students aged 16+:
During July and August we offer a range of General English courses together with a full social programme that includes a full day excursion and a half day excursion. These courses are open to students aged 16 or above. Please note: We cannot provide accommodation for students aged under 18 years old. Students aged 16-18 are recommended to stay with relatives or close family friends who can be responsible for them and look after them for the whole period of their stay.
Evening English Course:
This course aims to provide students with the range of skills needed to cope in an English-speaking environment. The course incorporates a wide variety of resources designed to accommodate each student's learning style. The Part-time Evening course is available on Tuesday and Thursday 6pm-9pm.
English and Work Placement (This programme is currently for EU students only):
Brand-new course for students who wish to work and study in order to improve their language skills and gain valuable work experience! The Manchester Central School of English is proud to present our new sandwich course:
