Summer Rock Music Courses in Brighton, East Sussex
Brighton Institute of Modern Music:
Situated just two minutes from the beach in Brighton, East Sussex on the south coast of England, the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) provides two unique and dynamic summer courses for musicians ages 11+ who are looking to develop their technique and confidence as live performers. Our Music Radar Summer Course is designed for those who love classic rock, while our Metal Hammer Summer Course is for all the metal heads out there.
Quality Music Training:
- Open to Musicians Ages 11+
Our Summer Courses are open to all musicians who are not absolute beginners on their instrument (and ages 11+). We always have a good mix of ages on our Summer Courses, so remember - you're never too old or too young to rock out!
- Live Performances
Each Summer Course is a 5-day week, consisting of dedicated tuition on your instrument (guitar, bass, drums & vocals), followed by a live performance workshop every afternoon to hone your performance skills on a stage guided by your tutors and a different special guest each day.
- Fully-equipped Teaching Spaces
In addition to our superb teaching spaces, with full PA and backline, we have put together a comprehensive collection of pro-vintage and modern equipment for all specialisms, with which the musicians at BIMM are encouraged to develop their own style and innovative approaches.
About Brighton Institute of Modern Music:
BIMM Brighton opened in 2001 and this year celebrates its 10th birthday. It has three main buildings known as BIMM East, BIMM West and BIMM House. BIMM House opened in September 2009 and boasts stunning new facilities. Live performance classes are also delivered in local live programme venues. Brighton was selected as the base for our first college because of the vibrant music and arts scene, availability of gigs, studios, record labels and artists - plus it's great to be by the sea.
All tutors at BIMM are highly skilled in their specialist area and remain actively engaged with the contemporary music industry. Language and Music For Life, Summer Music Camps in UK 2026 - all levels & backgrounds
Courses / Programs
• Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) offers a unique, tailored 2-week intensive summer music and language courses for British & international students in North Yorkshire, England.• LMFL provides quality one-to-one training in a wide range of instruments & voice tuition to enthusiastic musicians of all levels & ages (children aged 5+, teenagers & adults). In addition, we offer English and foreign language classes in private lessons or small groups.
• Designed primarily for highly motivated musicians with a willingness to learn; enabling them to derive maximum benefit from high quality tuition, the course is open to musicians preparing for national, international exams or competitions, skilled amateurs and "tourist musicians".
