61. St Brelade's College, Jersey

• Founded in 1978, St Brelade's College is an English language school offering summer courses for children / teenagers aged 10-18 years.

• Our summer / holiday programmes for juniors include intensive English courses, private English lessons and homestay / residential programmes on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Our school is located 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England.

• We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of English UK. Our holiday programmes enable students to learn English while enjoying a memorable stay in Jersey.

• The main focus of our teaching is on communication, using a variety of methods and teaching materials to help students increase their conversational fluency. With our small classes, teachers can adapt their methods to the individual needs of each student / group.

• Our students have the choice of staying in homestay accommodation with one of our host families on the island, in a summer residence for teenagers, or in hotel accommodation.

62. Rossall Summer School
Courses / Programs
Rossall Summer School provides an intensive English language summer programme combined with fun activities, academic subjects, and cultural excursions. We are located in Fleetwood in the Wyre District of Lancashire on the northwest coast of England. Rossall is 20 minutes north of Blackpool airport and one hour north of both Manchester and Liverpool international airports.

Our summer school runs for 8 weeks in the summer holidays on our stunning coastal campus with lots to explore. We recommend pupils stay for a minimum of 2 weeks. We teach in small classes of no more than 10 students per class, ensuring each pupil receives individual attention.

Our summer school embodies the same high standards as our year round programme. Students follow an intensive English language programme to develop the skills they need to communicate effectively, and for those considering studying in the UK, there is also the option of studying a choice of academic subjects to develop technical knowledge and vocabulary. Small classes are run by Rossall's own full-time staff and you will receive a full academic report and certificate of attendance. This is an ideal preparation for UK boarding schools.

63. Oxford International Study Centre, Oxford
Courses / Programs
Oxford International Study Centre is a renowned institute of higher education in the centre of Oxford, just one hour north of London. Each Summer during we hold Junior Programmes for UK and international students ages 16+ with a choice of four study options and many memorable excursions and leisure activities.

Each programme consists of a weekly schedule of a minimum of twenty to thirty lessons of tuition with specialist teachers, projects and cultural visits every weekday afternoon, and a full-day weekend excursion. Homestay accommodation is normally with Oxford families, although students over sixteen may choose to reside in the University.

We are accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Colleges, which is one of the professional organisations licensed by the Government (along with the British Council) for approving independent colleges. We are also associate members of the European Council of International Schools.

Located in Glasgow City Centre, The Royal Conservatoire is Scotland's national centre of professional vocational training in performance arts. We provide a range of Short Summer Courses in a range of performing and production arts disciplines (Dance, Drama, Music, Production, and Screen) designed for children and young adults ages 1-17 from all over the world.

Each summer we present a packed programme of performing arts classes for young people (and adults). The wide variety of these summer courses are distinctive in the way that we use performing arts to allow our students to share their views, ideas and passions with each other.

Our summer schools are specialist courses designed and delivered by the Royal Conservatoire’s tutors, lecturers and professors who teach our undergraduate and postgraduate students. 66. Oxford Encompass - Enrichment Programmes
Courses / Programs
Located in the historic university city of Oxford in the South of England, Oxford Encompass provides summer enrichment courses for students ages 16-19 from around the world. Designed for those who aim to study at a world-class university in the UK or abroad, our enrichment programmes are 2, 3, or 4 weeks in duration.

During their enrichment course, students will learn more about studying, living, and working in the United Kingdom. Advice and guidance is given to students on all aspects of applying to university in the UK, from making the right choice, to negotiating the UCAS system and writing a personal statement.

During each summer course, students visit Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell-group universities and have the opportunity to meet admissions tutors and undergraduates. Every student is assigned their own individual Learning Mentor, who helps them to identify their life and learning goals, and achieve them.

In addition, students gain valuable life and work experience by engaging in a project, drawn from academia, the arts and heritage industry, or the business world. Students can choose a project that reflects their own interests, and this project-based learning develops students' core skills in presentations and management.

As well as at least 30 hours of tuition a week, students participate in a full programme of social events & excursions, with visits to London & Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-on-Avon, as well as other iconic English destinations.
