Intensive English Course (IEC) - 15 hours per week:
The aim of this course is to enable non-native English speakers to become fully functional in American English. There are seven levels of intensive study. The classes include reading and writing, listening and speaking, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary…tools that will enable you to use the language communicatively and academically. After completing this course, students may enter a university, graduate or professional school or any work environment. In fact, any endeavor or career can become a reality.
Intensive English Program (IEP) - 18 hours per week:
This program combines the Intensive English Course (15 hours per week) with one of the Scholar's Courses (3 hours per week) which enables F1 students to meet their legal requirement of 18 hours of classes per week. With their focus on pronunciation (beginning), listening and speaking (intermediate) and understanding American culture (advanced), the Scholar's Courses are the perfect complement to intensive English classes. Upon completion of this course, students will have the communication skills and confidence needed for success in all facets of American life.

Test Preparation
The American system of education relies on various specialized or "standardized" tests which students must take in order to apply to a particular university or program. These exams offer colleges and universities a common basis for comparison of applicants. The Atlanta English Institute has been a leader in Test Preparation since 1993. We help students who are taking various English/ESL tests plus those who are preparing for college and graduate school aptitude tests.
Test Preparation is available the following exams: TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, GED, TOEIC, TSE, LSAT and etc.
