Located just off I-90, in the Comstock Park area of Spokane WA, Everyone Makes Music is an early-childhood music education institution that provides weekly music classes for children from ages 3 months to 6 years. Our creative curriculum is designed to stimulate and strengthen the vital neural development taking place in your child’s mind, and includes parent-and-child music programs for babies, toddlers and older children.

Early-childhood Music Lessons for Children Ages 3-months to 6-years

Babies Music Program (3-months to walking age)
Babies instinctively react to music! In these interactive classes, parents & babies learn delightful rhymes, lullabies, floor and lap games, action songs and dances that stimulate your baby's natural response to music.

Toddlers Program (1 - 3 years)
Parents gather information each week on infant musical development and learn activities to share in class and use at home. More benefits: Increases bonding with your baby and develops listening and motor skills. Also enhances language development and sense of balance and timing.

The toddler and parent learn delightful songs, dances and musical activities that focus on singing and keeping a beat to enhance timing, coordination, listening and language skills. High-quality percussion instruments are used as well as puppets, stories and colorful props to make this a very special music time.

Families Make Music (18-months - 3 years with a parent)
This preschool class teaches toddlers basic musical concepts. In this fun & educational class, parents and children will have fun dancing, sing- ing and playing instruments while the children learn valuable skills such as rhythm, eye-hand coordination, gross motor and focused learning.

This class is taught by a licensed music educator. Come for fun and leave with a foundation for future musical skills and knowledge. Parents participate with their child.

3-5 Year Olds (Introduction to Orff)
This class gets the child started with the fun and high quality Orff instruments and features exciting musical games, rhymes, and stories. Develops a sense of timing and coordination as the child experiences solo and group playing on the Orff instruments.

Solo singing games improve listening, pitch matching, and tone quality. Builds on the child's musical literacy foundation and continues to improve physical and literacy skills. Activities are designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative 3- and 5 year-olds.

Play-a-Story (4-6 year old piano lessons)
This class is developed especially for youngsters who are eager to begin playing piano. Songs and games reinforce concepts such as beat, rhythm, melody, form, harmony, expressive qualities. Improvisation on ORFF instruments and on Piano.

Without the stress of formal traditional piano lessons students are given musical sounds, motifs, styles, shapes and dynamics, laying down a comprehensive, improvisational foundation that equips them with the sounds of their new musical language.
