CELTA Teacher Training / Teach English in Galapagos Islands
CELTA Galapagos:
Take the first step towards a rewarding career as an English language teacher in one of the most exotic locations in the world! Based in the famous Galapagos Islands, off the coast of Ecuador in South America, CELTA Galapagos provides a four-week Cambridge CELTA (Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) course.
Most people fall in love with the Galapagos Islands when they first visit, and we were no exception. This CELTA project provides the opportunity to live and work on the islands and allows our CELTA candidates the chance to join us in paradise while obtaining their certificates.
Helping to educate the local population is an integral part of the 4-week course, and there is a fabulous opportunity to volunteer on the islands once your course is complete.
Much of the population of the Galapagos is Spanish speaking, so recently-qualified teachers can offer valuable assistance in teaching English to the locals.
It is a chance to spend time in this precious environment as much more than a tourist, and do something truly rewarding and memorable.
The Galapagos ecosystems are incredibly diverse but also very fragile, and we wanted to make sure that this CELTA project would help contribute to Ecuadorian environmental objectives and sustainable development.
For this reason, we partnered with the Municipal Government of Santa Cruz Island which has 42 years of experience with environmental and educational programmes.
