Centrally located in the heart of downtown Bangkok, Thailand, The TEFL Institute offers a 120-hour, 5-week TEFL Certificate course accepted by the Thai Ministry of Education, recognized worldwide, and US graduate level accredited. We are committed to providing you with an excellent TEFL teacher training program, empowering you to be a competent and enthusiastic teacher in the international teaching environment of your choice. Eligible graduates can apply for a Thai teacher's license or can work anywhere in the world with the additional US university graduate level accreditation.
Our course includes a minimum of observed eight hours practice teaching in three different teaching environments: One on one, small group, and Thai government school classroom teaching. We have a maximum enrollment number of six students in each TEFL course. This makes for a beneficial, individualized and intensive experiential learning environment for all TEFL course participants.

We teach TEFL 130 hours this icludes 30 hours teaching practice within local schools.We teach Thai Language 200 x 1 hour lessons, This course qualifies the applicant for a 15 month visa (3 month temporary) followed by a 12 month Extension.We also teach all major languages and have a large pool of teachers to call upon. If you would like to teach in Thailand, all foreign nationals must take a 20 hour Thai Ethics course introduced by the Private Schools association of Thailand TLS Language School have this license to teach this. Our staff are polite and speak good English.

The 4 - week TEFL course in Phuket, Thailand provides participants with an Internationally recognized certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course has a very practical emphasis and features a high proportion of actual teaching practice hours in the classroom. The course is externally validated and moderated by the BOAA (Board of Academic Advisors). Teachers are assessed on their understanding and practical application of the course content through teaching practice and the compilation of a teaching journal. These two are assessed separately but the final grade awarded amalgamates both sets of grades with a slight weighting towards teaching practice.
