GreenTEFL, Chiang Mai:
Based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Green TEFL offer a 4-week TEFL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certificare course to students from around the world. The Green TEFL course is operated under the NAVA School of English which was founded in Thailand in 1995 and in Chiang Mai in 1999. NAVA employs 20 full-time native English speakers teaching over 12,000 students each week. In addition to teaching at its own schools, NAVA works with kindergartens, primary, and high schools in the greater Chiang Mai area.

Our trainers have many years of experience behind them and supplement the curriculum with their own personal strengths in the classroom and in the job market. Both our trainers and support staff are always willing to answer your questions outside of class – whether you need more information about a teaching strategy or advice on the best Khao Soi (local rice-noodle soup) in Chiang Mai.

The GreenTEFL course exists alongside NAVA School of English and thus has full access to all of the school’s facilities and resources. Our facilities are fully climate-controlled and include several classrooms for adults as well as young learners. The lesson-preparation resources of NAVA are available to Green TEFL students for use in their own observed teaching practice and include networked PCs, copy machines, laminating equipment, general office supplies, and ample multimedia equipment such as projectors and audio electronics.
