EBC offer an internationally-recognized 4-week TEFL / TESOL teacher training course in Boracay Island in The Philippines that will qualify you to teach English as a foreign language. Our intensive TEFL course is written to English national curriculum standards QCF level 4, and comprises 150 hours with a significant part spent on supervised group teaching practice, peer group and individual teaching sessions.

This intensive, challenging and rewarding course is designed for candidates that have no previous experience in English teaching as well as those that have some experience but no formal training. There is a lot to learn in 4 weeks. You will become familiar with the principles of successful EFL teaching and start developing the practical skills that you will need to teach effectively.

In our challenging, demanding and highly rewarding course, you will make new friends, graduate with two invaluable qualifications (both a TEFL and a TESOL certificate) plus experience life in a non-English speaking country.

Accreditation:
The TEFL course is written to English national curriculum standards, QCF level 4. The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the national credit transfer system for education qualification in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. To maintain a high level of quality and due diligence regarding quality control, EBC’s 4 week intensive TEFL course is also externally validated and moderated by the Academic Advisory Board (AAB), which is completely independent from EBC.

AAB members (four of whom are PhDs) are EFL, ESL, linguistics and study abroad experts; All AAB members are recognised authors in their field of expertise - teaching English as a second and foreign language, English language learning and study abroad programmes. The 1st role of the AAB is to ensure the quality of the course, content, delivery, etc. The 2nd role of the AAB is to ensure that the quality of all trainees course work meets standards.

EBC is also an accredited centre of Anglia Examinations and a registered centre of Chichester College.
