RCC School of Engineering Technology and Computing (SETC) is located at RCC Toronto's North campus, located in Concord, Ontario. It is the undergraduate technology division of Yorkville University, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and specializes in technology-related education, providing both a Degree and Diploma program in Electronics Engineering Technology. The Diploma program can be taken as a two-year, or one-year intensive program.
For more than 80 years, SETC has supplied the technology sector with highly skilled graduates. Beginning in 1927 as a training facility for the radio and communications sector, the school quickly became a leader in electronics, micro-processing and computer-based systems education.
SETC offer the support, knowledge base and training essential to prepare for today’s job market. SETC programs give students great flexibility in balancing program length, level of skills acquired, and career options.
RCC Faculty of Engineering Technology and Computing’s Engineering Technology programs are accredited by both the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB) and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).

University of Calgary, Alberta is a comprehensive university with approximately 26,000 full- and part-time undergraduate and graduate students pursuing bachelor's degree, master's degree, and PhD and post-doctoral programs. The University of Calgary is a member of nine national Centres of Excellence and houses several research institutes investigating topics as diversified as law and family, the humanities, the environment, energy, petroleum engineering, software research and development, and transportation. Applicants will be considered for admission on the basis of equivalent senior matriculation. Completion of at least 12 years of schooling and satisfactory standing in five distinct and appropriate subjects (including English and at least three academic subjects) equivalent to the Alberta 30-level subjects is required.
• Canadian Centre for Verbatim Studies is a Ministry-approved career college that specializes in the online training and professional development of Authorized Court Transcriptionists (ACT), and Digital Legal Monitors.
• We provide a 14-week online Court Transcription certification program as well as a 4 to 16-week Digital Legal Monitor / Court Reporter course for home-study students living in Canada.
• We offer our students the rare opportunity to achieve a qualification that allows you to work in the middle of the action of the legal profession without a law degree!
Court Transcription course:
• All classes are delivered by a professional transcriptionist who has worked for several years as an educator, a court reporter for the Ontario courts, and an ACT.
• We provide students with a comprehensive education in court transcript production, and ensure that they are fully equipped to produce accurate, reliable transcripts of legal proceedings.
• Graduates meet the transcript qualification standards set out by the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario, and are eligible to register and become an Authorized Court Transcriptionist (ACT).
Digital Legal Monitor course: • A digital monitor is also responsible for all of the duties of a court reporter, including marking exhibits, swearing in witnesses, and providing playbacks.
• Students will have access to the course for 4 months. Students can sit the final exam at any time.

The AA degree is accepted for transfer into bachelor’s degree programs at UCW Vancouver and all British Columbia degree-granting institutions.
