NUI Galway offers a wide range of graduate level Diploma programmes, Master Degrees, and Doctoral Research Degrees in each College.
With almost one quarter of all registered students at NUIG currently pursuing further studies, the University is committed to continuing to improve the range and quality of its postgraduate studies.
The University’s postgraduate degrees are of two kinds:
- Research-based programmes normally involving two years on campus for Master Degrees and a minimum of three years for Doctoral Degrees.
- Postgraduate Diploma, Higher Diploma, and Master level taught programmes.
