Çukurova University
Çukurova University occupies a foremost
place among other Turkish universities with its 10 faculties, 3
colleges, 7 vocational colleges, 3 institutes and 26 research and
application centers. The university campus is located 10 kilometers
away from the city center, and is situated in a serene environment
conducive to learning. This tranquil setting by the Seyhan Lake is
complemented by a motivated staff, innovative labs and modern
libraries. The university considers providing highly qualified
graduates to Turkey as a top priority. The university, with its 1903
member teaching staff, offers courses to over 23.000 undergraduate,
post graduate and doctorate students. The university also offers its
faculty and students a variety of recreational facilities including:
an indoor sports center and swimming pool, a boathouse and a variety
of sports grounds.

Yeditepe University
Yeditepe University has the advantage of being situated
in Istanbul, the biggest city in Europe. Yeditepe means Seven Hills.
This refers to the legendary Seven Hills of Istanbul. Yeditepe belongs
to a new wave of foundation universities established in Turkey since
the 1985s. Yeditepe University was established in 1996 by the İstanbul
Education and Culture Foundation (İSTEKVAKFI) which promotes education
on a non-profit basis in Istanbul. The medium of education at Yeditepe
University is predominantly English. The University also offers a
number of programs in which the languages of education are French and
German. Students, whose foreign language skills are not adequate to
undertake an academic program, attend a one-year foundation course in
that particular language. Yeditepe University, as in many other parts
of the world, employs a credit system.

East Technical University Located in Ankara, Turkey, the Middle East Technical University
is devoted to the pursuit and application of knowledge for the
social, cultural, economic, scientific and technological
development of our society and mankind through achievements in
teaching, research and community service that are of highest
international standards. METU strives to maintain a high
standard of education by international standards. Several
departments in the Engineering Faculty have been evaluated, at
METU's request, by the "Accreditation Board for Engineering and
Technology (ABET)" and their programs were given approval by
this Board. Because of METU's effort to maintain international
standards, the "Faculty of Engineering" was awarded in 1977 the
"Silver Badge of Honor" by the "UNESCO International Center for
Engineering Education" and the "Meritorious Achievement Award in
Accreditation Activities" by the "American Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers". Fields include
Architecture, Arts & Science, Economic & Administrative
Sciences, Engineering, Natural and Applied Sciences, Social
Sciences, Marine Science, Informatics, Applied Mathematics.

Additionally, there are 5 Graduate Schools with 93 masters and 51 doctorate programs and a "School of Foreign Languages" which includes the English Preparatory Department. 6 undergraduate programs (including 1 international program) are offered in connection with METU Northern Cyprus Campus. |

Gazi
University
Gazi
University is located in Ankara and is one of the few
universities whose history dates back to 1920s. Right after the
declaration of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and
his friends decided to establish an institute. Today, Gazi
University carries out its educational and research activities
with its 25 faculties, 21 colleges, 18 research centers and 5
institutes and it still claims it is a higher education
institution which is worthy to Atatürk. Being the leader of the
country with its education faculties, Gazi University has
faculties of Industrial Arts, Gazi Education, Vocational
Education, Technical Education, Commerce and Tourism, c,
Kirsehir Education. In addition to the students from all around
the country Gazi has also more than 1500 foreign students from
Turkic states. It also meets the needs of academic staff of
other universities with more than 5 thousand students in master
and PhD programmes

Izmir Institute of Technology
The Izmir Institute of Technology (IYTE - Izmir Yuksek Teknoloji Enstitusu) is one of Izmir's three public universities, a state university that places emphasis on research and graduate and undergraduate education in fields relevant to science and technology and on interdisciplinary studies. It was founded by central government to be a centre of excellence in science and technology. In keeping with the Institute's international identity and mission, the language of instruction is English. Entering students with insufficient knowledge of English attend one year of Preparatory English School intended to lend fluency in professional and social life.
