Nike Tennis & English Camps (ages 10-17)
Course Duration: 1 week or 2 week overnight camp. For students of all levels of English and all levels of tennis.
Designed for those who would like to improve their English language skills alongside tennis, this residential summer camp combines 20 hours of quality tennis coaching per week with 12.5 hours of English language lessons per week.
In addition, students will visit a selection of top UK destinations, such as the All England Club at Wimbledon, Hampton Court and London.
If you are a beginner to tennis, you will learn the fundamental skills - grip, movement, spin, consistency, and power. More experienced players will be challenged to improve their current skills.
Using entrance and exit tests, students are grouped by ability and age. They learn English quickly through our sports-focused English language programme, while immersed in an English speaking environment.
Each student will put their reading and writing skills into practice through projects relating to the camp's excursions. For example, they will
- Produce articles, blog entries, and diary extracts
- Create a camp magazine
- Research tennis and sport-related stories and facts
- Interview players and coaches to create profiles
On completion of the course, each student is awarded a CMT English language proficiency certificate. They will also receive an individual assessment from their English tutor with advice on how to further develop their English language skills.
Nike Total Tennis Camps (ages 10-17)
Course Duration: 1 week or 2 week overnight camp.
With 34 hours of quality tennis coaching and related activities each week, this residential tennis camp allows you to improve your game in a positive and friendly environment.
With a 1:6 coaching ratio, players improve all aspects of their game while training like pros. They will enjoy excursions to top UK destinations, such as the All England Club at Wimbledon, Hampton Court and London.
Beginners will learn to master key skills such as grip, movement, spin, consistency, and power. More experienced players are challenged technically, physically, and tactically. They will benefit from lots of short-set matches, and competitive challenges, including beat the coach!
To improve technique, our experienced coaches use demonstration, practice, and feedback - including video analysis. Fitness and conditioning drills put emphasis on footwork, speed, and balance.
The tennis experience will be further extended by off-court seminars.
Nike Tennis Day Camps (ages 10-17)
Course Duration: Non-residential 5 day camps. Intermediate and advanced tennis players only.
Train like a professional at the National Tennis Centre - one of the UK’s top tennis venues!
Created by former British No.1 & Davis Cup player James Auckland, our high-performance tennis programme is designed to challenge and extend players at every opportunity.
During our challenging and fun camps, players will improve physically, technically, and tactically. They should expect plenty of short-set matches and competitive challenges on court, including beat the coach!
Players will participate on one excursion. Choose between:
- An exclusive tour of the All England Club at Wimbledon Stadium grounds and museum.
- A visit to Hampton Court Palace, where players will learn the history of tennis and have a chance to play Real Tennis on The Royal Tennis Court under the instruction of resident professionals.
Nike Tennis, Business English & Communication Skills Camps (ages 14-17)
Course Duration: 1 week or 2 week overnight camp. English ability: min. B1 level. Tennis ability: all levels.
This course is ideal for international students or UK students who wish to develop skills in communication and business. It is comprised of 30 hours of tennis coaching and 5.5 hours of Business English per week.

• ISSOS offers summer school programs for international students aged between 13 - 18 years of age in July and August in St. Andrews University.• St Andrews is situated on the beautiful east coast of Scotland, approximately 50 miles (80km) north-east of Edinburgh and 80 miles (130 km) north-east of Glasgow.
