Manor Courses is a family-run residential, summer school offering English language courses for young international students. Established in 1970, we are located in West Sussex in the South of England, 10 km from Brighton and 15km from Gatwick. We provide residential English language Summer courses for children aged 8-17, and their families. Students can choose to stay for 1-5 week courses during July and August. Manor Courses offers a warm and friendly environment in a beautiful location at Hurst College, which is a boarding school set on 130 acres of privately-owned countryside. The exciting range of first class sport, social and residential facilities on campus make Hurst College a safe and healthy environment.
We combine several essential components to provide our students with the ultimate summer school experience, including a dedication to high-quality tuition and stimulating sports and social activities programme with professional supervision. Over the years we have been expanding, welcoming an increasing number of nationalities.
Our family (the Directors) live at the college all summer, and promise 24-hour support for students, parents, agents and teachers.
Boarding English Summer Courses for Young Learners &; Teenagers (ages 8-17), for All Levels:
- 18 hours of English language tuition per week, with an extensive sports and recreational activity programme. Students can choose to stay for 1-5 week courses during July and August.

Travel Sport Camp
Courses / Programs
Currently, Travel Sport Camp and its affiliate EduKick, host schools and camps in 11 different countries on four continents and continues to grow on a global scale. Travel Sport Camp offers summer sports camps for boys and girls from 10 years old in Cornwall in south-west England, and Bolton, a large town in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, in the North West of England. Our camps are open to children and teens from abroad and also from within the UK.In our summer camps, all sport training sessions, classes and social activities are conducted in the native language to maximize the educational value of the experience. Daily professional sports training and daytime language and/or chosen curriculum taught by highly qualified teachers make up the core of the TSC program. All ability levels are welcome and no prior sports or English language experience is necessary. All levels of English speakers are welcome, from beginner/elementary up to native speaker. Native English speakers will be scheduled for more activity time and less language instruction time.
Multi-Sport Summer Camp - offers swimming, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. The program is for boys and girls ages 10 to 19, and combines a daily English language course with a sports training program.

Strings & Piano UK International Summer School

William Bruce, Head of Strings at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, will be delivering the Strings & Piano UK International Summer School at Claremont School in East Sussex, in the south of England. A two-week residential course focusing on String, Piano, Choral and Kodály aural training.
Our 2018 Summer School is set to be an exciting year! Maksim Stsura, Vanessa David, Hugh Molloy, Gonzalo Acosta, Esther Hargittai and Sebastian Muller will all be joining William Bruce to lead chamber groups, choral workshops, specialist theory classes, orchestral performances and Kodály method teaching.
To complement the daily tuition, students will have the opportunity to see a musical on London's West End and tour the Royal Academy of Music.
The Strings & Piano UK International Summer School is for students aged 10 - 17 who are Grade 3 to Grade 8 plus in their chosen instrument (or ABRSM equivalent) and will take place from the 23rd July - 6th August 2018 at Claremont School.
