General English:
Our General English Courses are designed to help students improve their language skills for effective communication in everyday English.
We have courses for a range of levels from Elementary (A2) to Advanced (C2) English. The courses are structured to improve the core English language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. The curriculum includ
es work on English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and on developing independent learning strategies.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP):
The EAP course is for students who have finished schools and colleges in their home country and are intending to study at graduate and postgraduate level in the UK. The course will give them the language skills necessary to succeed in an academic environment.
Exam Preparation Courses:
ELA offers IELTS courses over 3 weeks for 10 hours/week in the afternoons or over 8 weeks for 4 hours/week in the evenings. The afternoon course can be combined with a General English class taken in the mornings of 15 hours/week.
Our IELTS course can provide you with the skills you need to achieve the score you want with classes aimed at improving your performance in each of the four skills.
We also offer TOEIC as well as Cambridge FCE/CAE/CPE exam preparation courses.

Executive English Courses are tailored to your individual needs. Many students choose to attend our standard classes in the morning, with one to one classes in the afternoon concentrating on the skills that you need for your work. We also offer a range of English plus Activity courses.
