The Japan Foundation (JF Nihongo):
Located in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles CA, between Downtown LA and Beverly Hills, The Japan Foundation (JF Nihongo) is a Japanese language school that provides a range of everyday, conversational Japanese courses to adult students. These courses focus on how well learners can do things in practical settings. Using materials from Japanese daily life, you will enjoy these friendly, interactive, and above all, fun courses!
- Unique Proficiency Levels
Rather than split our courses into 'Beginner', 'Intermediate' and 'Advanced' levels, we work off the 'JF Standard', which makes it possible to grasp a learner’s proficiency and knowledge in a more practical manner.
- Small Class Sizes
The maximum number of students per class ranges from 10 - 16 people, depending on course activities. All courses are open to individuals 18 years or older, and classes are taught by experienced tutors.
- Fun Environment for Learning Japanese
Our primary goal in offering JF Nihongo courses is creating an opportunity for people to enjoy learning Japanese.
All JF Nihongo courses focus on practical activities which may occur in daily life or business situations, and set up specific goals which can be applied in real life in Japan.
Through the JF Nihongo courses, you can assess yourself to see what you can do now in Japanese, what you need to learn, and what you will be able to do upon completion of the course.
