GMG Music Center, Columbia:
Conveniently situated in Northeast Columbia, South Carolina, GMG Music Center is a premier music school providing quality music and art programs to students ages 4-18 as well as a Music Workshop Series specifically designed for working adults. Our mission is to provide our students with a collegiate musical atmosphere at a young age in order to promote maximum musical growth.

Music Programs for Children & Adults:

GMG Music Academy (Ages 7-18)
Students have the option of learning the piano, drums, guitar or vocal in the GMG Music Academy. We provide students with the optical musical growth on a pre-collegiate level that will have added benefits should they decide to pursue music in higher education.

GMG All Access gives students the opportunity to utilize the facility, which includes the GMG Performance Center, Unlimited Private Lessons and the GMG Recording Studio.

Homeschool Music Academy (Ages 4-18)
Music is one of the essential disciplines that every child needs in order to develop a well-rounded education. Research has shown that there is a strong correlation between music instruction and academic success.

GMG offesr our Homeschool Music Academy at convenient times during the day to area homeschoolers ages 4-18. This program is structured like the GMG Music Academy, only offering lessons during the day.

Accelerated Music Program (Grades 6-12)
AMP is an audition-based program where students must get recommended by their instructor to participate. Upon admission students are required to be in good academic standing, must continue to demonstrate leadership skills and remain in good standing at GMG Music Center and in their respective programs.

Early Childhood Music Academy (Ages 4-6)
The Early Childhood Music Academy is for all piano, vocal, guitar and drum students ages 4-6. This innovative approach to beginning music instruction provides age-appropriate music classes, with the goal of laying a solid foundation for life-long music-making and appreciation. Students participate in both group and private instruction.

GMG Music & Arts Afterschool Academy (Ages 7-16)
Students have the opportunity to experience music and various other arts forms all in one combined dynamic afterschool academy! We provide a safe environment where students can get homework assistance from the Academic Coach, an afternoon snack and the added benefits of the arts without having to enroll your child in multiple programs.

Maestro Music (Grades 1-5)
GMG provides music lessons for students on location at Lake Carolina and Bookman Elementary Schools. Students can participate in music lessons all year after school from 3pm-3:40pm. We offer their choice of piano or guitar instruction.

Summer Music Academy (Ages-7-18) 
The SMA is a four week summer academy that introduces beginner to advanced musicians ages 7-18 to recording, song-writing and on-stage performance experience.

GMG Workshop Series for Adults:
The GMG workshop Series is designed for the working adult who wants to learn a musical instrument without the long-term commitment. We offer your choice of piano, vocal, guitar or drums. Classes meet once a week for an hour for a 6 week session.
