The UAB School of Nursing, Birmingham:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing offers a range of graduate and undergraduate nursing degree programs including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The UAB School of Nursing is located in the heart of Birmingham's medical community and is Alabama's research-intensive nursing school. The school's state-of-the-art simulation and technology labs provide students the opportunity to practice clinical skills from delivering a baby to working with electronic records and provide preparation for real-life clinical environments.
The UAB School of Nursing offers the following undergraduate programs:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN):
The Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, BSN, program is designed with a curriculum intended to prepare graduates for entry into professional nursing practice. This foundation offers both academic and professional nursing courses that provide the base for clinical competence and informed judgments about health care situations and care of patients in both in and out-patient settings.
RN-BSN / RN-BSN-MSN:
The RN Educational Mobility Program (RNEMP) is designed for registered nurses with either an associate's degree or diploma in nursing. The RNEMP is open to any RN who has submitted evidence of successful completion of a nursing program and who is licensed to practice as an RN and meets admission requirements. The RNEMP offers two options for students: RN-BSN or RN-BSN-MSN.

- Accelerated Master’s in Nursing Pathways (AMNP)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD)
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
