All TVET courses count as units towards your HSC and nationally accredited qualifications. Some TVET courses such as accounting and other industry curriculum frameworks, including hospitality and electrotechnology, also count towards your UAI.

In a Sydney Institute traineeship or apprenticeship you:
- learn a skill or trade through a combination of work and training
- work several days a week while studying at one of our TAFE colleges
