Upon completing your course, you will receive Certification from the National Restaurant Associations' ServSafe Alcohol program which allows graduates to legally work as a bartender anywhere in the U.S.

40-hour Ultimate Bartending Course
The course instructs actual techniques and experiences every bartender must know by allotting enough time on cocktail preparation, wine knowledge and service, and the essential customer service practices to make you knowledgeable. Our students are taught by true industry leaders who currently work as trainers, bartenders and bar consultants throughout the hospitality industry.

The emphasis of the course is to get you behind the bar, making drinks rather than sitting behind a desk. This is the best way to gain confidence and feel comfortable behind a bar. We go slowly and only accept up to 12 students per class.This ensures us that the bartender instructor can teach students to learn what is needed to truly learn how to tend bar. This ensures you of getting the proper knowledge enough to tend bar with us anywhere, anytime.
The course runs for two weeks and is held in a nightclub cocktail bar, located in the heart of Downtown Hollywood. Classes run for approximately 5 hours daily, Tuesday through Friday, from either 9:30-2:30pm or 5:30-10:30pm. We also have the weekend course available. Weekend course schedule runs approximately eight hours a day, Saturdays and Sundays for 2½ weekends. Please note that the course is taught in English, however all instructors are multilingual.

This fun-filled course will have everyone preparing cocktails while learning mixing concepts known only to master mixologists. Imagine yourself savoring the sophistication of a Bourbon Peach Smash made at the exclusive Milk and Honey bar in New York, or reveling in the carnival atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro while enjoying a Caipairinha. This course will take you through some of the world’s greatest cocktails throughout all the continents- cocktail glass in hand.

You’ll uncover the secrets behind each mouth-watering cocktail, from El Floridita’s Papa Doble, invented by Ernest Hemingway to Ibiza’s Bora Bora Sangria where the island celebrities come to let their hair down. Taking you around the world back again, you won’t find better cocktails anywhere else. Come as an individual or book your own private event solely for your group in your own private nightclub bar. We can adjust your event to run anywhere from two to four hours.

Flair Bartending Course
786-BARTEND is now providing a brand new flair programs at its Downtown Hollywood campus. Flair bartending has become very popular since the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise came out as well as hit movie Coyote Ugly. Since then there have been many flair competitions held locally and all around the world. We will teach you the complete Art of Flair. From straws to coasters, shakers to glassware, garnishes and liquor bottles, this practical, hands-on approach teaches any level of bartender how to toss, flip and spin their way into huge tips. Students of this program will approach their bars in a whole new way, this training will be sure to make you a star behind the bar attracting additional customers, and best of all increasing your tips!

This shall include a four hour intensive hands on training seminar, a Flair Bottle and mixing tin as well as all class materials.786-Bartend offers three courses introduction, intermediate, and exhibition flair classes monthly. These classes fill up quickly due to the high demand in learning to acquire the Art of Flair bartending. You will learn to increase your tips and have a lot of fun doing so.

Advanced Mixology
Take your bartending skills to the next level. With our advanced course you learn some of the most advanced drink recipes and style presentations known today.

Bachelorette / Girls Night Out Cocktail Workshop
Get all the girls together for a fun filled themed event, where every girl gets behind the bar and learns to make over a dozen of the best martinis and cocktails known to woman! Celebrate your bachelorette party in style with 786-bartend's creative and sassy bachelorette cocktails. Our drinks are perfect whether you're starting off a fun-filled party night or deciding to host an evening in with the girls. Not only are they delicious, they also have great names as well! The bachelorette, bridesmaids, and each guest will commend you for putting all this together. 

With the help of 786 BARTEND you can make life a lot easier for yourself. While all the girls let loose and each enjoy making dozens of martinis and cocktails behind their own private nightclub bar. This interactive group martini workshop enables each girl to jump behind the bar and tend bar.

Assessment Information
On the last day of the course you will sit a written examination, take a practical cocktail making examination and perform a free pouring test. The average score from these 3 tests will make up your final course result, while ranging from a basic passing score (E, over 70%) to an outstanding score (A+, over 95%).
