Earlham College:
Earlham College, located in Richmond, Indiana, is a liberal arts college offering primarily undergraduate degree programs. Earlham also offers two graduate degree programs: the master of arts in teaching and the master of education, which provide a route for teacher licensure to students with liberal arts undergraduate degrees.
Earlham's 200-acre campus focuses on the Heart, a tree-shaded green where students often gather for recreation, study and observances. The campus fronts the Old National Road on the north; known today as U.S. 40, this is the trail pioneers used as they traveled west. On the south beyond the College's Equestrian Center, outdoor riding ring and athletics fields, the campus continues with 600 acres of farmland and forest, offering high and low ropes courses, and picturesque woodland trails.
