Certificate Programmes:
Certificates may take from 12 weeks to one year to complete. Courses offered within a certificate can range from Levels 1 to 7. Certificates provide a broad introduction to a range of skills and knowledge in a particular subject area. Certificates at Levels 2 to 4 are often needed for entry into trades and service employment. Certificates can also provide direct entry into diplomas and degrees.

Diploma Courses:
Diplomas generally take between one to two years of full-time study to complete (or the part-time equivalent) and consist of courses from Levels 4 to 7. Diplomas are often required for entry to advanced trade, technical and professional occupations. Diplomas may provide direct entry into a degree qualification and, in many cases, courses from the diploma may be credited toward degree qualifications.

Bachelor Degrees:
All degrees offered at Waiariki are bachelor degrees. A degree usually requires a minimum of three years full-time study (or the part-time equivalent) and includes courses at Levels 5 to 7. Degree qualifications are generally required for entry or advancement in professions, and provide further stair-casing opportunities for study at masters or doctoral level.

The Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies (A.I.A.S.) was founded in 1999 in Auckland, New Zealand and is proud to be the only training institute in Australasia offering recognized Ayurvedic qualifications in both Australia and New Zealand.
