Certificates may take from 12 weeks to one year to complete. Courses offered within a certificate can range from Levels 1 to 7. Certificates provide a broad introduction to a range of skills and knowledge in a particular subject area. Certificates at Levels 2 to 4 are often needed for entry into trades and service employment. Bachelor Degrees:
All degrees offered at Waiariki are bachelor degrees. A degree usually requires a minimum of three years full-time study (or the part-time equivalent) and includes courses at Levels 5 to 7. Degree qualifications are generally required for entry or advancement in professions, and provide further stair-casing opportunities for study at masters or doctoral level.

Manukau Institute of Technology offers 1500 full and part time certificate, diploma, degree and post graduate study programmes, and a whole lot more. Manukau City located in the Auckland region of the North Island, is New Zealand's third largest city, and with 150 different ethnic communities calling it home, is proudly multi-cultural.
