La Petite Classe, Burgundy:
French homestay programs and cultural add-on classes in eastern France: Situated in Semur-en-Auxois in the heart of the picturesque rural region of Burgundy, and close to Dijon (just two hours from Lyon), La Petite Classe provides intensive and private French lessons at the home of an experienced tutor. We offer 1-3 week sessions year-round for beginner to advanced level students from anywhere in the world.

French Language Lessons in Rural Burgundy:
Beginner to advanced levels. 1-3 week sessions

The 3 week session will help you make spectacular progress and experience firsthand French lifestyle and culture. The one week session is aimed at improving a grammatical point or to prepare for a test or an entrance examination.

Courses Schedule:

• 8:30 am - 9:00 am: Oral expression, based on what was learned the previous day.

• 9:00 am - 9:30 am: Pronunciation exercises, based on the difficulties met by the student.

• 9:30 am - 12:00 am: Explanation and teaching of a grammatical structure and then oral and written practice. 

• 12:00 am - 1:00 pm: Free topic discussion based on the grammatical structure studied during the morning.

Since there are no more than 2 students per class, the courses can also be taught "à la carte", with a heavy focus on the challenges met by the students.
