Situated in the heart of the picturesque rural region of Burgundy in east-central France, La Petite Classe provides intensive and private French lessons at the home of an experienced tutor.

We offer short 1 to 3 week courses year-round for beginner to advanced level students from anywhere in the world. Homestay programs and cultural add-on classes are available.

Semur en Auxois, a 12th-century town close to Dijon, is nested in a green valley and is an hour by TGV from Paris and 75 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is located in the heart of Burgundy, just two hours north of Lyon.

You will stay in an ancient yet modern nunnery with a beautiful garden where you can sit and relax and even study if you wish and if the weather allows it.

Corcelle offers one-to-one total immersion in our language school in Southern Burgundy in eastern France. Our residential courses are highly intensive programs for professionals, business people, executives, diplomats and other highly motivated adults. The one-to-one course is without doubt the most effective way of learning a language. Only this formula allows a programme to be individually tailored to the particular needs and potential of each learner.

Residential courses offer the optimum learning environment: free from distraction, students can devote themselves fully to the acquisition and practice of French: students are involved with French throughout their stay. They work on developing their language skills every minute of the day: during their individual lessons with their trainers, over meals with other participants and teachers, at coffee-breaks, situational lessons or just a quiet discussion in the library.
The programme consists of 50 + contact hours per week, (including all meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner) - with a teacher. It is full-time with constant interaction and language development. A teaching team of 3 to 4 teachers is allocated to each student. A daily revision recording prepared by the teachers is included in the program and copied on CD for further use after the course.

Come and study and practise French for 50 hours per week and stay at the beautiful Château Correnson situated in Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas a village in the Rhône Valley,
at the crossroads between Provence and Languedoc. Nearby are Avignon (airport, TGV train station, 20 minutes away by car), Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10 minutes), Nîmes (40 minutes) all of which are known for their festivals, Roman vestiges or vineyards.

The property is surrounded with stone walls and also comprises a vineyard outside the walls. A local wine grower makes our own wine (Côtes du Rhône and Lirac appelation).

Our philosophy of teaching : to make the communication a pleasure for all the students who trust in us and to associate the French language with a human positive experience. We know that the French learning constitutes for you an enormous personal investment for you. We would like to express you all our admiration and respect.

Our predecessor transformed the château into a hotel-restaurant. Before 1989, it used to be a wine estate. The rectangular courtyard, with a fountain, a well and a fish pond, is surrounded by distinct buildings.
