Connect School of Languages is more than a language school. We help to prepare students for success in college, in their jobs and in the 21st Century. How do we do that?

Connect flips the traditional language school model by creating a family-type learning environment that engages students to drive their own learning and share their interests and culture. Every student is known by all the teachers, staff and Director.

Connect uses project-based learning to engage and motivate students to complete unique assignments using visual, audio and kinaesthetic techniques to teach students.

We offer the flexibility to allow students to change their programs.

Students are given projects to complete. These projects are personalized to their interests and needs. Students can pursue whatever passion they require to improve their English. Connect's teaching philosophy is unique and inspiring.

Connect is the first language school in Canada to offer a 1:1 iPad classroom.

The iPad is an important part of how you study at Connect. It is your textbook, your notebook, your dictionary, your voice recorder, your project maker, your exam centre and so much more.

That is why we have included it in our tuition fees.

The Study it English as a Second Language iBooks are an innovative textbook series which combines the power of the iPad tablet with incredible, updatable, content. The iPad has changed education. It has changed the way we teach and it will change the way you study English. Our teachers can do so much more to help you improve. The iPad gives teachers many new tools to use to teach you English.

Your ESL textbooks are in your iPad. You never have to carry around a paper textbook, CD's, photocopies or workbooks.

You can access your digital textbooks anywhere. WiFi is not needed. You can study on the subway, the bus or at home.

You get free updates of new materials or new exercises as we publish them.

At Connect, we believe in a flexible system of English study. We offer many different programs to help you improve. You can start any Monday and study from 1 week to 52 weeks.

You choose the length and intensity of the program along with different elective classes. Before you arrive we offer an Online Placement Test that checks your grammar, reading and writing skills. Then, on the first day you will be given a Speaking Test.

We offer 8 different ESL levels to progress through. Course options include:

- General English
- Intensive Conversation
- Business English
- Work and Study
- Business English Diploma
- Pathway Program (to enter a college in Canada)

At Connect, we are a family. Making friends and practicing your English is very important to us. We have a lot of fun and crazy activities to help bring cultures together and help you make friends from around the world.

We want to challenge you to use your English in different and new ways. We try to make our activities different and unique. We want you to have a different experience every month.

Accommodation:
Connect provides three different types of accommodation for you.

Homestay - living with a Canadian family.
Living in a homestay is an excellent way to practice your English and learn about Canadian culture. Connect offers a variety of home stay family-types

Dormitory - living at a university residence (summer only)
There are several dormitory options available for you to enjoy during the summer months - May to August.

Single Room  - living in a single room in a house
These are private rooms in a Canadian house with shared bathroom facilities and free Wifi.
