Maple Leaf Academy, Calgary:
Maple Leaf Academy (MLA) is an English language school located in Calgary, Alberta in Western Canada. We offer a range of English courses to international students of all levels - from beginner to advanced. We also have an agreement with Citizenship and Immigration, Canada to provide English skills for newcomers (landed immigrants and refugees) to Calgary through our Language Instruction to New Comers (LINC) program. Corporate ESL training is also available.

Maple Leaf Academy offers full and part time Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced courses in general and academic English.  It also offers classes in TOEFL preparation, as well as customized Business English and English for Specific Purposes courses for individuals or groups.  MLA can also make arrangements for students to recieve one-on-one tutoring. 

Students at MLA receive a Canadian Language Benchmark score at the end of their course. For the international student, these are scores that provide a clear idea of what their language skills level is at against a Canadian national standard. Because it was originally designed to provide English skills to students starting a new life in Canada, the MLA curriculum focuses on functional language taught through techniques that emphasize a learner-centered, communicative process.
