Formal tuition generally takes place in the mornings but of course learning continues throughout the day. English Language Homestay Courses:
We offer English language homestay courses with qualified teachers of English, as well as General or Business English.

The main advantage of living and studying in the teacher’s home is that students have maximum exposure to the language each day.
Courses operate throughout the year. The minimum course duration is one week and students opt for 15-25 lessons per week [each lesson is an hour long in the UK and 50 minutes in the USA]. Before you arrive you will be sent a diagnostic English test which your teacher will use to assess your level and prepare material for your initial sessions. Our teachers are flexible and will adapt lessons in order to resolve specific problems. However, to ensure that lessons maintain a necessary structure, we provide the most up-to-date educational materials which are yours to keep at the end of the course.
You will also be sent home with a Certificate and after you return home a detailed report completed by your teacher which includes comments on progress and suggestions for further study.

• Groundschool London provides Advanced English Language Proficiency training courses at a new facility in Putney, in the Borough of Wandsworth in south-west London. • We have a comfortable and modern classroom, and the centre is also equipped with state of the art FTD flight simulators (Boeing 737-800 and from summer 2018, Airbus A320).
• All our staff are experts in the field of aviation and come from a solid aviation background, many being ex-airline pilots with Pilot Instructor qualification.
