Professional & Experienced English Teachers:
All teachers are professionally qualified to teach English as a foreign language. Many of our teachers have also worked in areas such as marketing, IT and law and have taught overseas, thereby bringing additional expertise and an extra dimension to their teaching.

London is the greatest city in the world for art, music, clubbing, theatre, sport, shopping and a host of other activities. The capital buzzes with activities all year round. From processions, carnivals, street shows, live comedy, music ... the events are as diverse as London itself.

At Crest Schools of English, we encourage our students to take advantage of all that London has to offer.

We also offer coach trips to places of beauty and interest around England that are difficult to reach from London without a car, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Windsor and Bath. Students are welcome to speak to our office staff for advice on where to go and we are always happy to organise group trips to the theatre, museums and so on.

Most activities in London are free, for example museums, festivals, carnivals, sports. Please note that entry fees for some social activities will be required, for example cinema, theatre, day trips, bowling.

Crest Schools of English is conveniently situated in Edgware, a safe and very pleasant suburb of North West London, near to Edgware tube and bus station. We are in the town centre which has its own indoor shopping mall. There is a wide choice of shops, restaurants and cafes, public library, fitness centre, parks and nearby sports complex. Edgware is the ideal location for students who don't want the pollution and stress of the big city but still want to be near the centre. Central London can be reached by train in less than 30 minutes.

Living with a homestay is the ideal way to practise English outside the classroom and to experience British culture first-hand. Homestays are clean, comfortable, friendly and safe.

All our host families live close to the school, often within walking distance and never more than a short bus-ride away. We select homestays very carefully and monitor them regularly.
*Our standard plus accommodation is slightly superior to the standard accommodation - you may be placed in a homestay located closer to the school, or you may have a larger room.
**Our executive accommodation is similar to the standard plus, however, students will have a private bathroom.

Accommodation is priced weekly from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday and is available for full-time (15 hours plus) students only. Shared accommodation is only available to students travelling together.

Most of our students prefer to stay in a homestay but if you would rather arrange hotel or hostel accommodation, please let us know and we can arrange this for you.
