Qalam Center, Rabat:Qalam wa Lawh Arabic Language Academy is an oasis in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Located in the up-scale neighborhood of Souissi, it is a 10 minute ride by taxi to the center of the city and the Medina. Housed in a spacious (4,000 sq ft) facility and enclosed within it's own tranquil garden, our school is an ideal place to learn Arabic and also offers our students plenty of space for quiet study or reflection, away from the every day hustle and bustle of city life in Morocco.

Each class is led by an experienced and enthusiastic native-speaking Arabic teacher. Our teachers are all former Fullbright scholars. They have previous experience teaching at American universities during a Fullbright exchange program. They also have held positions as Professors of Arabic at distinguished Moroccan Universities. Like most Arab cultures, Moroccan people are famous for their hospitality. Moroccans love to meet international students and are excited to share their culture with guests. Our staff very much enjoys participating in this exchange of ideas.
Courses:
- Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) consists of three levels - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Arabic. Courses focus on the four key language skills of modern standard Arabic: speaking, listening, writing and reading.
- Colloquial Moroccan
Arabic (CMA, also known as "darija") is the spoken dialect of Morocco. CMA is more simple grammatically and has a less voluminous vocabulary than MSA. While most CMA words find their root in MSA, many CMA words are borrowed from French, Spanish and Berber. - Cultural Studies - Our Arabic courses can be supplemented with a wide variety of fascinating opportunities to learn about Moroccan and Arab culture. Students can also take elective courses in the following areas: Islamic history, Arab Literature and Classical Texts, Arab women's history, Moroccan Architecture, Arab Poetry, Arab Media, Andalusian Music, Calligraphy.

ILCS Arabic Language School (Centre de Langues de ILCS) is located in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, which is a beautiful city on the Atlantic Ocean and the Bouregreg River. The center of Rabat is within a 15-minute walk from the beach. The climate of Rabat is a moderate one, with long periods of sunny days and mild winters.

Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane

AUI is located in Ifrane, Morocco in the Middle Atlas Mountains, at an altitude of 1,600m. Ifrane is just 60 kms from Meknes, 80 kms from Moulay Idriss Zerhoun and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, 65 kms from Fez, and 200 kms from Rabat. Winters in Ifrane can be cold with significant snowfall, and summers are pleasant. Oak and cedar forests, the springs, streams and lakes around Ifrane have made it a very popular resort for all seasons.Run through the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) at AUI, The ARANAS program grants academic credits which can be applied to an individual’s degree program in his/her home institution. The Arabic language component is an intensive program. A diligent student, willing to devote himself to preparing and attending the full morning of classes, and then completing homework assignments, can realistically hope to achieve one full academic year of Arabic language by successfully completing the summer program. Students experience learning Arabic not only in class and through homework, but also through interaction with students, instructors and staff at the university as well as others outside the university in the community of Ifrane.

SACAL is an Arabic language institute, set up primarily for non Arabic-speaking people from all over the world. Established in early 2006, we are located in the city of Fez, a sanctuary of spiritual and intellectual traditions in the Northeast of Morocco. The centre is dedicated to offering education in Arabic and Islamic studies. Situated in the Sidi Bou Said district, just 30 minutes from downtown Tunis, the Center Sidi Bou Said for Languages has been offering beginner to advanced level Arabic language courses since 2008 to students from around the globe. Courses include full-year Arabic Term programs, Private Arabic courses, and short-term Intensive Seasonal programs in the Spring, Summer and Winter. Arabic language for foreign students is an Arabic language school in Marrakech, Morocco, North Africa. We offer short or long term language courses and total cultural immersion. Students can choose between Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or Colloquial Moroccan Arabic (CMA) with courses available year-round.
