EIDE Spanish School, Bilbao:
EIDE Spanish School is located in Bilbao, Northern Spain and offers a range of Spanish language courses to students from around the world. Bilbao is the largest city in the Basque County (close to the French border) and is only 1 hour flight from Madrid and Barcelona. Our Spanish courses include Intensive Spanish; Spanish Immersion Programs; Tailor-made courses for tourism or business purposes; DELE exam preparation; private Spanish lessons and more. Our students can combine their Spanish classes with activities including cooking, surfing, hiking, excursions among others. We also offer Spanish summer camps to children and teenagers.

Intensive Spanish Courses:
The goal of our intensive Spanish courses is to teach people to communicate in Spanish in real world situations. With this goal in mind, our classes focus on the basic linguistic skills: speaking and spoken interaction, listening comprehension, reading and writing. Our concept of teaching is based on communicative methods where the new technologies play an important role. Our teachers are all native speakers, they have a university degree in languages and are very experienced in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Our Spanish courses are held in small groups where all our students receive personal attention. There is an average of 4 students per group. Courses start every first Monday of the month. Students attend 20 classes per week and each class lasts 45 minutes. Our Spanish courses are taught at 6 levels which follow the Common European Framework of Reference: Basic User: A1 and A2; Independent User: B1 and B2 and Proficient User: C1 and C2.

DELE Exam Preparation:
The Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) is a official diploma issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science and the Spanish Instituto Cervantes to students who pass a standardized test that indicates Spanish language proficiency.

These courses are designed to give students an idea of the kind of structure, exercises and questions they will come up with the DELE exams. In order the student to become familiar with these exams, most of the exercises and activities will be based on real exam papers. The goal of our courses is to help students develop the necessary skills to perform successfully in every exam section: listening and speaking, grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing.

Our DELE exam preparation courses last for four weeks and students attend 20 hours of classes per week.

Spanish Immersion Programs:
In our Spanish Immersion Programs, students spend 8 hours per day with the teacher. This is made up of 4 Spanish classes each day combined with lunch & activities, conversation and sightseeing.

Specialized Spanish Courses:
Each individual has their own needs. For this reason we can adapt our courses to our learners and we can design specialized courses for each learner, who will receive personalized attention and advice. Our Specialized Spanish courses include Spanish for Tourism, Business Spanish and more.

Spanish Course and Activities:
Students can choose to combine their Spanish lessons with activities that can include Cooking Lessons, Surfing, Climbing, Excursions...

Spanish Summer Camps:
Our 2-week and 4-week summer programs for children and teenagers are designed in a way that allows students to learn or improve Spanish while enjoying some vacation time in Bilbao and its surroundings: nature, excursions, sport, surfing, adventure...
