The Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza situated in Elvissa (to the south of the island) is the only language school in Ibiza which is specialized in Spanish as a Foreign Language and count with the largest number of adult students on the whole island. Our methodology is based on a communicative approach considering the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and we always teach the neccesary grammatical aspects. We use only proven learning materials and the class language is always Spanish.

For this, we follow the most successful teaching approaches. We give communicative classes and encourage our students to use the language from the beginning on - to speak. All our teachers have a university degree and have experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

All teaching materials we use are course packs based on approved course books. Our students are exposed to the following media: TV (films and news), radio, Internet, newspapers and magazines. 1) Host Families:
Well selected families guarantee your stay in a friendly family and clean house or appartment. This is definitely the most intensive way to learn Spanish and to experience the Spanish way of life.

2) Shared apartments:
Share an apartment with other students that have come to Ibiza to learn Spanish. These apartments are fully equipped with cooking facilities, TV and air-conditioning. They are located in the city center only a few minutes walk away from the school.

3) Hotels and Hostels
We use a large database of hotels and hostels of different categories and prices. You can chose between cheap and simple hostals up to 3 to 5 star hotels and the bed & breakfasts.

4) Apartments:
If you like to stay in your own apartment, we are pleased to help you find and book it.

For the active we offer various types of land and water sports for which you will find ideal conditions in Ibiza. For example, dive at the many spectacular spots with experienced instructors and groups. Some of our teaches might join you. When you are in Ibiza, you just have to dive!

The cultural programmes we offer, for example, involve excursions to historical sites as well as help with theatre visits or for live concerts and many more events.
