We are sure that at the Instituto Español de Salamanca Berceo the student will find the ideal atmosphere for learning, entertainment and making friends.

Standard Spanish course:
4 hrs a day. One hour of grammar theory and practice with Spanish verbs. One hour of morphology. One hour of communicative and conversational Spanish practice. One hour of comprehension and written Spanish. This is the general program, it could change depend on the level.

Spanish Grammar course:
2 hrs a day. One hour of grammar theory and practice with Spanish verbs. One hour of morphology.

Spanish Practique course:
2 hrs a day. One hour of communicative and conversational Spanish practice. One hour of comprehension and vocabulary of Spanish

Total Immersion Spanish Course:
8 hrs a day . Designed for those who, with limited time at their disposal, or who prefer individual approach, need to rapidly acquire an in-depth knowlegde of Spanish (at any time of the year) through complete individual immersion in the subject. In order to attain this goal, the student has continual and exclusive access to a personal tutor during the majority of the day.

Each day is made up as follows: One hour of grammar theory and practice, one hour of oral communication, one hour of communication skills, one hour of written Spanish and reading comprehension, one hour listening comprehension and phonetics with audiovisual methods, one hour of specific vocabulary improvement (field to be chosen by the student eg economics, medicine, tourism). One hour at lunch with the tutor. Typically, the student lunches in the company of the tutor in a restaurant where, in a more informal and relaxed atmosphere, he or she can gain fluency in conversational Spanish, one hour of extra-mural activities.

D.E.L.E. Preparation Course:
The D.E.L.E. (Diploma Español como Lengua Extranjera), issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, is the only officially recognised qualification in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

We have three levels:
1. Certificado Inicial de Español (C.I.E.): Beginners' level
2. Diploma Intermedio de Español (D.I.E.): Intermediate/Advanced level
3. Diploma Superior de Español (D.S.E.): For those students who possess a complete command of the language
