Exeter Academy:
Exeter Academy is a professional English Language School for adults only in relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Wide range of courses based in Exeter, Devon, South West England. We provide high quality English Language Courses for adult learners - average age 29 - in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and in beautiful surroundings. The school has a lovely building and gardens in a beautiful area of the city with views across Exeter to the sea and to Dartmoor National Park. At Exeter Academy you will be able to study undisturbed by traffic noise.

Examination, Summer, Combination, Intensive, Business English, One-to-One, IELTS, CAE, SCE, TOEFL, TOEIC, GENE, FCE, ESL, TESOL. You can start your course on any Monday (Except national holidays and the Christmas period), and choose any length of course - from 1week to 1 year.

On our excursions, you get to see Devon and Exeter and we will take you on coastal and country walks, boat trips and visit local festivals and country houses.

Our evening social programme includes visits to local pubs, traditional "skittles", Jazz evenings, theatre, concerts and more.

In the summer term there are two excursions/activities per week -
one held in the evening and one Saturday excursion. During the rest of
the year, we organise at least one social event or excursion every two
weeks.

All excursions are free of charge except for the
entry fee if applicable, for example entrance fees to museums or boat
trips. A teacher accompanies every excursion - an ideal opportunity to
get to know your teachers outside the classroom.

with an Exeter Academy homestay family is a great opportunity to learn
more about our culture and also practise more English!

All
our homestay families are chosen and inspected by Fiona Knight , our
full time Accommodation Officer. She ensures that all families meet our
high standards of friendliness and hospitality.
We
are pleased to offer three grades of accommodation. All grades include
all meals (packed lunch Monday-Friday, to eat in school), and all
families are within walking distance of the school.

Standard - This option is our most popular choice, and includes the following benefits:
Single room (some families can also provide double or twin bedded rooms for couples) You
will normally be the only foreign student staying with the family, but
if there is another student, he or she will not be of the same mother
toungue Full board accommodation which includes a packed lunch on weekdays All families within walking distance of the school All bed linen and towels are provided Light laundry included

Standard Plus - This is very similar to standard but there are two bathrooms in the house.  

Executive - This accommodation includes everthing above but the student has a private bathroom in some cases this is en-suite.
