Library:
The College Library lies at the heart of the newly-developed Evolution House Learning Zone, providing an innovative environment for learning, teaching and research resources.
The library collection consists of some 85,000 books and more than 350 periodical subscriptions along with videos and DVDs, maps, and slides. All aspects of the College’s teaching and research are covered, with an emphasis on contemporary issues and practice.
Evolution House is wireless networked throughout and an IT support desk is located within the library. Laptops may be borrowed for use anywhere within the Learning Zone, allowing access to a wide range of online and networked information sources.
Computing Facilities:
The College has seven computer workshops across the campus, all with internet access. Much of the campus offers WiFi access already, with plans for the whole College to be WiFi in 2008. The software applications available include Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, and there are scanning and colour printing facilities.
All of our students are offered a personal email address. A web portal allows students to access a wide range of relevant College information customised to their login, including news and events, library services, programme notices and notes, and information from Registry and Finance.
Sports & Leisure:
eca students are eligible to join the University of Edinburgh’s Centre for Sport and Exercise (CSE) at the same rate as the University’s students. The rate is currently £95 for a 12 month membership.

Prescott & Mackay offers a unique range of short courses in fashion & accessory design from studios in London, San Francisco, Berkeley, New York and Melbourne. Courses run from beginner to advanced levels, and include shoemaking, bag making, belt making, corsetry, millinery and tutu making. Students can choose between group sessions, and private tuition. All P&M tutors are among the best in their fields in the world, and many of them are world-renowned designers themselves. The concept for Prescott & Mackay was formulated in 1997 by British founder Melissa Needham, member of the British Footwear Association and Royal Society of the Arts. She recognised a rising passion for shoe and accessory design, yet a distinct lack of provision for those who were unable to attend full time study.

The Cass (The Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media and Design) is one of ten departments of London Metropolitan University, and is situated on the East London City fringe, a vibrant area recognised as a centre of excellence for both art and design. This unique environment of commerce, art galleries and design workshops exposes our students to the highest levels of professional practice.We are proud to welcome a diversity of international students onto our courses. The department offers two courses designed to help international students prepare for study. The International Foundation Programme is a foundation year combining art, media and design studies with English Language to prepare students for degree level study. The International Pre-Masters is a one semester programme to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the department. Located in Brighton, Sussex, in Southeast England (60 miles south of London), The Academy of Creative Training is the only Drama School on the South Coast of England offering a professional actor training. ACT offers a range of acting courses for adults, young people and children from beginner to advanced levels.
