From the Thessaloniki (Macedonia) airport
a. The easiest way is to take a taxi (the trip takes 15-20 minutes)
b. By car, after exiting the airport area, proceed to the stoplight at the "T" intersection, and take a left towards Thessaloniki. Take the next right (at the next set of lights) towards Thermi. Take the left immediately after the highway overpass (towards Thessaloniki). Watch for the exit (take a right) onto the Ring Road towards Athens. Take the next exit, for Panorama. The main entrance to Anatolia is across the street at the first set of lights. For ACT, turn left at these lights, right at the next lights, right again (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
From downtown Thessaloniki
a. By bus, take the 57 or 58 towards Panorama (allow about half an hour for the trip). The bus can be caught along Egnatia, near the White Tower, or along Papanastassiou. The Anatolia/ACT stop is not far past the point at which you pass over the Ring Road.
b. By car, one can either:
1. Get to the Ring Road and go towards Halkidiki; take the Panorama/ Pylea exit; bear left at the lights; the main entrance to Anatolia is a left turn at the second set of lights that follows. For ACT, turn left at the first set of lights, then right (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
2. or, among several possible routes from downtown, take Egnatia or Leophoros Stratou to Papanastassiou; in Harilaou take a left toward Panorma just before the Aris stadium; go straight, up the hill, pass over the Ring Road, watch for the entrance to Anatolia at the second set of lights beyond the Ring Road. For ACT, turn left at the first set of lights past the Ring Road, then right (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
From Kavala
Along the main road from Kavala, watch for the left turn for Panorama at Agios Vassilis. At the top of the long climb the road intersects the Hortiatis-Exohi road; bear right, then (in less than a kilometer) left towards Panorama. Pass through Panorama down the hill and watch for the Anatolia entrance on the right at a set of lights. For ACT, pass by the Anatolia entrance, turn right at the next lights, right again (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
Note: In poor weather in winter, it is advisable not to take this time-saving route but to continue past the Agios Vassilis turn, towards Thessaloniki, taking the Ring Road towards Halkidiki outside of the city. Then take the Panorma exit, turn left at the lights, and the Anatolia entrance is a left turn at the second set of lights that follows. For ACT, turn left at the first set of lights past the Ring Road, then right (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
From Katerini
Take the National Road towards Thessaloniki. At the first set of lights outside of the city, turn left onto the Ring Road towards Halkidiki. Continue past many exits until you see (and take) the exit for Panorama/Pylea. Turn left at the lights, and the Anatolia entrance is a left turn at the second set of lights that follows. For ACT, turn left at the first set of lights past the Ring Road, then right (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
From Nea Moudania
Take the main road towards Thessaloniki. Turn right onto the Ring Road at the exit for Athens. Take the Panorama exit, go up the hill, and at the lights you'll see the main entrance to Anatolia across the street. For ACT, turn left at these lights, right at the next lights, right again (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
From Polygyros
Take the main road to Thessaloniki, turning right towards the city when it intersects the highway coming from Nea Moudania. Watch for the exit onto the Ring Road towards Athens. Take the next exit, for Panorama. The main entrance to Anatolia is across the street at the first set of lights. For ACT, turn left at these lights, right at the next lights, right again (almost immediately), and in 200 yards the ACT entrance will be on the left.
