Elisa Eliot is an acting coach and industry coach in Santa Monica, Los Angeles and Palo Alto in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I offer private acting lessons, group acting classes, industry consultation and on-set coaching, to beginners, professionals, children and adults. In addition to giving you the tools and techniques to become a better actor, I will also apply my experience in the industry to help you market yourself, network successfully, and book the roles you want.

My one-on-one coaching sessions are great if you are just starting out, preparing for an audition, or just want to fine-tune your skills. My acting classes are always small and give you an intimate opportunity to work with and learn from other talented actors while still benefiting from my one-on-one coaching. My goal is to give you the personal attention, acting techniques and career guidance that you need to reach your full potential as an actor.

Out of this diverse training, I developed the method that I use and teach called Modern Thought®. I believe that no actor can be confined to just one of these older methods in today’s acting world and that is the core idea of Modern Thought, it blends old methods with the tools needed to succeed in today's Hollywood. These older disciplines all work well to capture the essence of a role and bring out powerful emotions but each actor learns and works differently and can benefit from slices of each. My method teaches a blend of all these methods tuned to my student’s specific needs and learning style. I like to help find what makes you unique and to explore which ways of thinking work best for you.

The Jake Carpenter Acting Studio on Santa Monica Boulevard in Westwood in West Los Angeles is an actor training studio offering classes for adults and children from beginner level to working professionals. The studio is headed by renowned-acting coach Jake Carpenter. The Jake Carpenter Acting Studio provides a safe, positive and encouraging space for actors to grow.

At our acting studio, we believe that when actors grow into strong artists, their performances are powerful. These kinds of performances are what the great directors, producers and actors are looking for and they are rare. The goal of the studio is to help you become strong actors and contenders for major roles in film and television projects.

Jake Carpenter began his professional acting career while at UCLA. Jake is one of the stars of the famous movie, ALIVE, which also stars Ethan Hawke and John Malkovich. Jake has acted in projects with Renee Zellweger, Dean Cain and Tim Roth. He has performed for a season on the L.A. Law television series and guest-starred in several other popular television shows. Jake loves teaching acting and has a passion for guiding his fellow actors to grow artistically and professionally.
Acting training classes for both adults and children at all levels from beginner to working professionals:

- Classes focus on doing scenes and monologues from plays and movies.

- Students do their work and then receive constructive and encouraging feedback from Jake.

- Students are encouraged to work at least once, and preferably twice, in each class.

- Classes work on a monthly system.

- Classes take place on Saturdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Conveniently located just off the Junipero Serra Freeway, Tiffany’s Dance Academy South San Francisco offers dance classes for students from the age of 2 all the way up to adult, in the styles of tap, jazz, ballet and hip-hop. Based in Alameda County in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kisses 'N Makeup offers a 5-day make-up artist training program called "Intro to Makeup Artistry and Basic Techniques". This course takes place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Emeryville (between the cities of Berkeley and Oakland, CA), and is offered five times per year. Our course is designed to prepare the student for working in the TV/ Film, print, advertising, fashion and retail industries and a career as a professional makeup artist.

Our quality makeup workshops are divided into two sessions. The first session of the workshop is conducted with a lecture and demo of techniques.
