Mid-Peninsula High School is a non-profit co-educational independent high school catering for students in grades 9-12. Mid-Peninsula High School is located in Menlo Park in San Mateo County in Central California, serving the Fremont, San Jose, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Oakland and Half Moon Bay communities. We are characterized as a "community for learning" that maximizes each student's opportunities for success. Activities:
Mid-Peninsula High School has a number of fun and enriching activities in which students, faculty, staff, parents and the community can participate and bond throughout the year. These activities include school BBQs, community service days, talent shows, poetry slams, annual proms, senior dinners, an annual art exhibition and reception, a Valentines Day luncheon, a Thanksgiving feast, Halloween festivities, activity days, film day and Friday school-spirit days.

Core - The Heart of Our Program:

Each Mid-Peninsula student is assigned a "Core Teacher," who serves as academic advisor, guidance counselor, advocate, community builder and family contact. Core meets every day, giving students an opportunity to set goals, develop their learning styles, strategize with their teachers about progress toward graduation, think about life beyond Mid-Peninsula and obtain support, counsel, information and referrals. Core Teachers are students' true partners in learning.

Serving the Community and Wider World:

Community Service is a key component of the Mid-Peninsula philosophy. Students spend significant hours every term choosing and executing ways in which they will serve their communities. Previous projects include student-run food and clothing drives, working in local soup kitchens, working with the developmentally disabled, tutoring at-risk kids, participating in environmental cleanups and more.

Located in La Canada, between Pasadena and Glendale in Los Angeles County, CA, The Child Educational Center (CEC) offers infant, preschool and school-age programs for children from 2 months to 12 years from La Canada, Glendale, La Crescenta, Pasadena, Altadena and neighbouring communities. Enrollment is open to any child 2 months to 5 years of age for our infant / toddler and preschool program, and any child entering kindergarten through 6th grade for our school-age program without discrimination in regard to sex, race, color, or creed.
