Founded in 1983, The Child's Primary School is a private kindergarten through to eighth grade school located in Clairemont in Northern San Diego, near Tecolote Canyon Natural Park. We serve families throughout Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa East and West, Linda Vista, Bay Oark and surrounding communities. Our school is based on the principles of value and respect for the individual uniqueness of each child. We believe learning is promoted in an environment that supports each child within a community that includes family, school, and those who influence the life of the child.

We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with a special early bird program that opens as early as 7:00 am. There are full time, part time, and half-day programs available.
