Founded in 1983, The Child's Primary School is a private kindergarten through to eighth grade school located in Clairemont in Northern San Diego, near Tecolote Canyon Natural Park. We serve families throughout Clairemont, Clairemont Mesa East and West, Linda Vista, Bay Oark and surrounding communities. Our school is based on the principles of value and respect for the individual uniqueness of each child. We believe learning is promoted in an environment that supports each child within a community that includes family, school, and those who influence the life of the child.

Our Preschool enrolls children 18 months through 6 years. Being potty trained is not a requirement.

Schedules include:
- 2, 3, or 5-day basis
- 1/2 day (9:00 - 12:00)
- Core Day (8:30 - 3:00)

- Extended Day (anytime 7:00 am - 6:00 pm) programs available.

- We are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, year round with the exception of Holidays.
