Open Door Christian Schools (ODCS) in Elyria, Lorain County, Northeast Ohio is a premier co-educational, college preparatory school serving Christian families. Our purpose is to serve families of preschoolers by partnering with them to prepare their children for future school experiences. We believe children learn best through play. Developmentally appropriate experiences provide the framework for understanding each other and the world around them. Our curriculum is biblically based and uses purposeful play as well as large and small group times. Open-ended activities in learning centers allow children to explore at their developmental level.

Honors Courses: Students seeking additional challenge may enroll in honors courses. Our students compete in the National Merit Scholarship Program and many have been recognized as finalists or as commended students by the program throughout the school's history.
On-Line Courses: ODCS has a variety of on-line biblically based courses including 42 regular courses and 10 AP courses.
