Language Center International, Detroit:
Language Center International (LCI), located in the Detroit suburb of Southfield, Michigan, is a professional, accredited English language school with a family-like atmosphere. We offer up to thirty-six hours of ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction per week in morning, afternoon and evening classes. LCI also has a variety of other services for the international community, such as translations, interpretations, one-on-one ESL tutoring and foreign language training.

Small class size has always been a key part of the instructional program. All classes emphasize active student participation and strong teacher-student interaction.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes (morning, afternoon and evening options):
Most of LCI's classes concentrate on teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Up to seven levels of instruction from beginning to advanced are offered in morning, afternoon and evening classes. Terms are seven weeks in length. Six terms per year are offered: January-February; March-April; May-June; July-August; September-October; November-December. Foreign language classes and tutorials for ESL and foreign languages are also taught and are scheduled when requested.

General education classes:
General education classes include the following: Grammar, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Reading, Pronunciation, All Skills (a combination of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in one class).

Special academic track:
A special academic track is offered for students who would like to attend a college or university eventually. The academeic track includes the following classes: iBT TOEFL Preparation, Academic Writing, Academic Reading,  Academic Listening.
