Fundacion Amauta, Cuenca:
Located in Cuenca which lies in the south of Ecuador, The Amauta Foundation provides a variety of programs and packages ranging from schools of spanish to trips around Ecuador. Spanish lessons are taught in small groups (2 to 5 in a class) within 6 different ability levels from Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. With our travel programs we strive to make your stay in Ecuador an experience for a lifetime. We support education for low-income children through scholarships, study materials and other financial aid.

Spanish Intensive Program:

Take advantage of our Intensive Program which is the centerpiece of AMAUTA's course offerings. You will develop all the languages skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) with our communicative program. 20 to 35 hours per week, one on one instruction. Specialized to meet your needs. We can also place you with a family in Cuenca.

Spanish and Volunteer:

Fundación Amauta is offering the opportunity to volunteer in your area of interest while studying Spanish with one on one instruction. Work on projects in the area that are beneficial for children with little or no resources, single mothers, children of the street, etc. Utilize your knowledge on projects concerning education, health, environment and conservation, ECT.

Organize your hours study Spanish in the morning and volunteer in the afternoon or vice versa, or if you prefer start your volunteer work when you finish your course in Spanish

Spanish Cultural Program:
The academic program at FUNDACION AMAUTA is recognized by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education  Study Spanish during the week in the mornings 3 to 4 hours per day one on one instruction in every aspect of the Spanish language, conversation, grammar, speaking and listening and in the afternoon (2 to 3 hours) visiting the city with your professor, and the same time practice Spanish. Having the opportunity to be introduced into our culture and enjoy our customs.

Learn Spanish and volunteer in the area you care about most, medicine, business, environment, etc. We offer Spanish for specific purposes, giving emphasis on the vocabulary you need to strengthen based on your needs and of course practicing language skills conversation, grammar, reading, writing and listening.

THE TRAVELING CLASSROOM:
Learn Spanish and Travel in Ecuador. Fundación Amauta offers a unique program to learn Spanish while travelling to diverse settings in Ecuador.

Participants will experience four destinations, two in the highlands: Quito, the capital city of Ecuador and the beautiful city of Cuenca, both Cultural Heritage Sites; and two in the coastal region: the picturesque beach town of Montañita and the beach city of Manta. Spending one week on each location to experience different activities and varied adventure opportunities while continuing their studies with the same quality standards and academic follow up.

Starting dates and Duration:
Program starts every Monday year round. The first week of each month starts in Quito, the second in Cuenca, followed by a week in Montanita, and finally the fourth week in Manta. Participants can decide in which city they would prefer to start, considering set dates.
