Simon Bolivar Spanish School is one of the oldest, largest and most successful Spanish schools in the region. Spanish Language Classes in QUITO and CUENCA:

Individual Spanish Lessons:
These lessons are personalized and tailored to the student and is the best method for learning!
During your first hour of lessons you will take a short test to evaluate your level and then you will work out a plan of study with your teacher, depending on your interests and needs. At least once per week, you can go with your teacher to a park, museum, etc, where you can practice the language.

Many students worry about individual tuition thinking they won't be able to meet other students or get bored in class, but nothing is so far from the truth! You will have many opportunities to make friends at school and be surprised at how much fun you can have while learning Spanish with your teacher. 

Group Spanish Classes:
We are able to form groups (max 4-6 students) about two times per month. This type of course is only for complete beginners and given during the afternoons. We usually require 4 weeks of study for group lessons (4 hours per day), although please contact us to ask about starting dates and availability for 1, 2 or 3 weeks.

Experience Language and Culture:
Practice Spanish in and out of the classroom for a total experience! Take 4 hours of lessons in the morning at school, where you can concentrate on the four skills: hearing, speaking, writing and listening. During these 4 hours Improve your grammar, vocabulary, etc, and do review exercises.   Afterwards, continue with 2 hours more in the afternoon, visiting with your teacher grocery shops,  food markets, museums, libraries, and other places where you can get a grasp of local flavors, idiomatic expressions and culture in general.

DELE Preparation:
Prepare for your Spanish Diploma! Our teachers are very well trained to prepare students for the DELE exam, or Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language / Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera.  It is an official document issued by the Spanish Instituto Cervantes and the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science to participants who pass a standardized test indicating Spanish language proficiency. We have all the necessary materials and experience to guarantee you will have an excellent grade when you take the exam.
