Quito is often described as "The City of Eternal Spring.", due to its climate. It is situated 35 km (22 miles) from the Equator. Fought over by the Incas and conquered by the Spanish in 1534, the downtown historical district has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Today, Quito, with a population of 1.4 million, offers a great variety of cultural activities and night life for the inquisitive and fun-loving tourist.

Spanish World Institute (SWI) is one of the most successful Spanish language schools in Colombia. Established in 2006, we offer Spanish courses to students from around the world at our school in Bogotá. • Our Spanish courses include General Spanish (15, 20 or 30 hours per week), Bildungsurlaub intensive Spanish course, Business Spanish, DELE exam preparation, One to One Spanish lessons and private online lessons. We offer all levels of teaching: basic, intermediate and advanced and follow the values of Instituto Cervantes.

The Amauta Foundation located in Cuenca, in the south of Ecuador, is a non-profit organization devoted to education and research on social and environmental issues in South America, with special emphasis on Ecuadorian studies. It donates a portion of its income to local welfare projects.We offer general Spanish training as well as technical Spanish in different fields. Students practice grammar and the four main language skills: conversation, reading, writing, and listening. Classes are fun and entertaining.
